Questions and Answers

[+] What is the minimum rental period?

Our minimum rental period is one month. Longer terms are preferred.

 

[+] Do I need to pay a security deposit or administration fee?

A one month security deposit is required at time of booking. We do not charge administration fees.

 

[+] What are your modes of payment (weekly/monthly/prepaid)?

You can go online and access your account anytime during the month to pay your bill. This is our most preferred option. We charge monthly and take Visa, Mastercard, Debit, or Pre-Authorized Direct-Debit. You also have the option of paying up front for longer terms; please contact us to discuss this option. 

 

[+] Can I rent via the Internet or phone?

New customers can reserve or rent a storage unit by phone or online. Our preferred reserving or renting is online. You can create your account online, rent and pay online, and get your Entry Code by email. While we can rent a unit to you over the phone, it is recommended that you still create an account online to manage your space as you need. 

 

[+] Can I reserve a unit?

Yes, we have reservation options available.

 

[+] When is my rent due?

Your self-storage unit's rent is due on a month-by-month basis, and will be charged as follows:

ONLINE RENTALS: The __ day of each month as per when the rental was started

IN PERSON RENTALS: The day the rental was signed for. 

 

[+] Do I have access to power/electricity in my unit?

There is currently no power/electricity in the self-storage units.

 

[+] Do I need to give the notice to vacate my unit?

A 15 days notice must be given before vacating the unit.

 

[+] What times can I access my unit?

We offer 24-hour access so that you can come and go at your convenience.


[+] I'd like to move my trailer in the winter. Can this be done?

While the answer is yes, we cannot guarantee ease of access for move-ins or move-outs during the winter months. The main road is generally kept fairly clean, but in the event of a large snowfall, please give us ample notice before moving your trailer, as we may need to bring someone in to clear a path.

 

[+] Are my items covered by insurance?

Customers are not covered by any insurance by CGW Vehicle, RV, and Equipment Storage when they lease storage space. It is highly recommended that customers arrange for their own insurance package prior to moving in. 

 

[+] What security features does your facility offer?

CGW Vehicle, RV, and Equipment Storage facilities are protected with Keypad Entry that is accessible through your own personalized codes. The facilities are also monitored by surveillance cameras, and an alarm system with remote notification. 

 

[+] Do you do price matching?

We are competitively priced and offer move-in specials as well as the Preferred Customer Rate Program. Our pricing is designed to offer more savings at the move-in and during the long term. Our customers choose us for our amenities, and convenient storage location. Is someone offering you a better rate? Please call us at (306) 987-1234 and we will match that price.

Site Policies

[+] One item per space! 
This helps ensure manuverability of equipment both large and small. If you are double-parked, you may be asked to move.

 

[+] Select appropriate space!

If your equipment is 20 feet or under, a 20 foot space is fine. This includes tongue and hitch length in addition to trailer/vehicle/equipment length!
If you are 21, 22, or 23 feet with tongue and hitch included, we ask you park appropriately in large space. 

 

[+] No double parking!

We understand you may have multiple small items to store. Please use two of our medium units, as our large spaces are limited. If you are double parked, you will be asked to move to two medium units, or appropriate space as needed. 

 

[+] We have limited liability!

We understand you may be working on projects, or just need a place to store something to free up space at home. We still require stored equipment and vehicles to be insured by SGI. We are not at fault for any damage incurred while stored with us! Please see the FAQ regarding this as well.


[+] Winter Month Exemptions

Please note it may be difficult to move your unit in the winter! This may be due to snow and/or ice buildup where we will need notice in order to clear it if you need to move your trailer.
